Spendary is an offline-first personal and business expense manager by VioraLabs. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data We Collect

Spendary is designed to work offline. We do not require an account and we do not collect personal data on our servers.

Data stored on your device may include:

• Profile information (name, preferences)
• Transactions (income, expense, transfers, tags, notes)
• Wallets, categories, budgets, recurring payments, goals
• Business items like clients, projects, and products (if enabled)

Device Permissions

Spendary may request the following permissions:

• Biometric/Face ID (optional): Used only to unlock the app or confirm sensitive actions. Biometric data is handled by the device OS and is never stored or accessed by us.
• Camera (optional): Used only if you choose to take a photo of a receipt.
• Photos/Media (optional, user-selected only): Used only if you choose a receipt image from your gallery. We access only the specific item(s) you select and do not request broad or persistent access to your entire photo library.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used only to provide app functionality:

• Show dashboards, insights, budgets, and reports
• Manage wallets, transactions, and recurring items
• Support export features

Data Sharing

We do not share or sell your data. If you use Export, the file is saved locally and shared only when you choose to share it (e.g., via email or other apps).

Data Retention & Deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it:

• You can clear app data or delete your profile from within the app.
• Deleting a profile removes local data from your device.

Children’s Privacy

Spendary is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If changes are significant, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
